CD Release Concert, for more info call 507-375-4370, Loretta Simonet is a fiscal year 2022 recipient of a Creative Support for Individuals grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature; and by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.

The Critics Say...

"Loretta's almost operatic alto and Curtis' rich tenor form a lush, polished and varied vocal blend. The pair's instrumental interplay is equally compelling, with Loretta's harp textures dancing in and around Curtis' deft guitar and mandolin lines."                          ... Dirty Linen

Grant from Minnesota State Arts Board

We are very pleased and thankful to announce that Loretta has been awarded a Creative Support for Individuals Grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This will enable us to make a new CD in the coming year, do three CD release concerts (Twin Cities, New York Mills, and St James), and a virtual show. Stay tuned for updates on this project, which will be a collection of songs inspired by the pandemic!
