This show celebrates the life of music legend Pete Seeger! This multi-media show will feature Pete's sing-alongs like "Where Have all the Flowers Gone," "Turn, Turn, Turn," and "If I Had a Hammer," that helped shape a generation in the 1960s.
With back stories and projected photos, we’ll delve into Pete’s history and his passion for social justice (including civil rights, the environment, labor issues, and equality), and how it informed the songs he wrote and sang. This program is not only entertaining, but educational as it shows the “behind the scenes” stories of how Pete’s music played into the panoramic backdrop that was the Sixties.
